Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PrettyQR.

1. Terms of Use

By accessing and using PrettyQR, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our service.

1.1 Account Terms

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account

2. Service Usage

2.1 QR Code Generation

  • You may use our service to generate QR codes for legitimate purposes only
  • Generated QR codes must not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • We reserve the right to delete any QR codes that violate our terms

2.2 Service Limitations

  • Free accounts may be subject to usage limits
  • Premium features are only available to paid subscribers
  • We may modify or discontinue any feature at any time

3. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure a high-quality service for all users, we implement the following fair usage policies:

3.1 Free Plan Limitations

  • Maximum of 50 QR code generations per day
  • Basic customization options only
  • Standard resolution downloads
  • Single format export (PNG)

3.2 System Usage

  • Reasonable usage limits apply to ensure service quality
  • Automated or bulk QR code generation is not permitted
  • We reserve the right to limit access in cases of suspected abuse
  • Service access must be through our website interface only

3.3 Content Guidelines

  • QR codes must not link to malicious or illegal content
  • Custom images and logos must not infringe on copyrights
  • Content must comply with our community guidelines
  • We may remove content that violates these guidelines without notice

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription and Payments

  • Premium features require a paid subscription
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are listed in USD and include applicable taxes

4.2 Free Trial

  • New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial of premium features
  • Trial begins when you subscribe with a valid payment method
  • You will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel
  • Trial is available only for first-time subscribers

4.3 Cancellation and Data Retention

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Access to premium features continues until the end of your billing period
  • Upon subscription expiration, all premium data including QR code history and analytics will be permanently deleted
  • It is your responsibility to download or backup any data before subscription expiration
  • No partial refunds for unused subscription time after the 7-day period
  • Cancellation will stop automatic renewal for future billing cycles

5. Intellectual Property

  • The service, including all content and features, is owned by PrettyQR
  • You retain ownership of the content you use to generate QR codes
  • Generated QR codes can be used freely for your intended purpose
  • Our brand assets may not be used without explicit permission

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use PrettyQR for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or to generate QR codes with illegal content
  • Distributing malware or harmful code
  • Spamming or unauthorized marketing activities
  • Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the service
  • Reselling or redistributing our service without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

PrettyQR is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not responsible for:

  • Content linked through generated QR codes
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Any damages arising from service use
  • Third-party services integrated with our platform

8. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your account for any violations of these terms
  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support
  • Upon termination, you will lose access to all premium features
  • Generated QR codes may continue to function after account termination

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of PrettyQR after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
